Administrative Units – are units within the University that serve human-, financial-, physical-, and environmental- resources. Individual roles within these units may serve a college or academic unit, as part of their overall responsibilities, however, are not officially assigned to that college.
Ex: Human Resources Consultant (HRC) is assigned to an Administrative Unit – Human Resources (HR) but may serve employees, specifically in a college or academic unit.
College (Academic Unit) – roles work directly for and within a specific college/academic unit.
Ex: Faculty Member or Administrative Support Assistant roles are specifically assigned to a college (academic unit).
